How do you power it exactly?

All the essence that I put it under it seems to go poof rather quickly. Is there some renewable source that we can put there to keep it running, or a source that doesn't run out, because I thought there was.
 
Essence is obtained by exploring. It is not renewable, but just keep a good amount in storage. D not forget about light and dark nexi
 
Yeah, we got the light nexus done, and have a plan for the dark, it's just we're a bit lost on the neutral ... I mean, it's abundant in the world, just a pain in the ass to gather imo. Got any ideas?
 
Occasionally large lakes spawn in "magic" biomes which is a huge source of essence if you use it
 
Go to the Deep Dark and enjoy the huge amounts of essence. In my experience, large amounts of neutral essence isn't needed so once you drain a couple of large lakes, you'll probably not need any more.
 
Ars magica battery converts any essence into neutral essence as far as I remember so you could just use it to covert white nexus into it. Can just someone confirm that I am not mistaken.

Hasn't done this since those giant essence lakes were added(and the essence nexus had a 10 fold increase in power).

I've found that (at least right after the update) if you primed your battery with a bit of neutral essence first, it would then draw from a light nexus and convert it into neutral essence.
