I cant seem to create Air Essence with the Essence Refiner. I can create every other essence but Air. I am using the Direwolf20 1.0.14 pack with no changes to it. Is anyone else having this problem?
 
What are you using for the resources? IIRC you need feathers and Tarma Root, arcane ash for the center, and a good amount of essence.
 
Yep. that's what Im using 2 Tarma Root, 2 Feathers, and 1 Arcane Ash in the center. I checked the refiner with the Magitech's Staff and its at 100% and still nothing. Ive tried Tarma Root in the left and right with feathers in the top and bottom, and vise-versa. Nothing.
 
I have it getting Neutral Essence from a Mana Battery. The Mana Battery is getting Essence from a Light Nexus but that shouldn't mean anything. A Mana Battery is always Neutral.

Also, I CAN make other Essences with it so it IS working. But just not Air Essence

Not anymore the essence battery will only make neutral essence, Mithion patched that. No big deal considering how much neutral essence a bucket of liquid raw essence gets you combined with how much of it spawns now(whole lakes of it when it can, compared to 4 buckets worth any time it spawns).
But that is very odd. I'll have to check in game to see what's wrong here. It could be checking for the tarma root block rather then the item you have when you gather it, a throwback to old recipes in mods occasionally needing reeds in block form rather then sugar cane in item form.

Ok so it seems that I have been getting some bad info. I found out what was wrong. The Mana Battery is NOT converting essence into Neutral Essence. I had a Light Nexus charging a Mana Battery and it only put out Light Essence. Today I tried using an Essence Nexus to charge a Mana Battery with Neutral Essence just to see and now it works. So the Mana Battery is either bugged or I've just been listening to the wrong info. Thanks for the help.

It was recently changed so some builds utilize the old version
