Are there any benefits to wearing battlemage armor over the regular Mage armor. If so please explain and if not does anyone know if there will be ITF->

The main difference I've noticed is it provides more armor but gives you less mana regeneration, you can read the differences in the Compendium. Sorry if I'm wrong :P
 
Yeah I was just wondering if anyone had a gleam at more info than what the compendium states.

Diamond level protection instead of... iron? Higher magic resistance IIRC, and it looks better.
