I'm running a ftb revelations server
With galactic craft added
Rn it's on a xeon x3430 with 16 gb ram and 10 gb to the server allocated (uses 7 gb with ease)
I have a average of 6 players on at the same time with peaks of 9
(planning on expanding)
I'm upgrading to a
I5 2500k with 12 gb ram (wil be 16 or more later)
Would this improve alot in terms of game play?
It's running on a. 7 mbs upload and 25 down
(moving soon to fiber with maybe a chance of 25 or higher upload and 100 down)
Everything is on windows 7 managed by multicraft front end

Yes the i5 would give you better performance, I would also make sure you run the game from SSD and not HDD.

HDD can ofc be used for backups and such, but for better performance - use SSD, if you have the chance.
