Applied Energistics: Move multiple stacks into system?

How do you move multiple stacks of an item into an AE system at the crafting interface? The usual ctrl+shift+left click from inventory tweaks doesn't work. I've seen direwolf20 do it but I can't figure out how.

It might be an NEI addon that he uses. I can't seem to do it either but my work around is to shift click into an ME interface or a large chest with an import bus on it.

I normally do Shift + Double Click and it works for me.

Bit strange if that's the case though, considering I've seen him do it on his agrarian skies playthough, which is what I'm using. I don't feel like he'd go and alter the pack since he usually likes to let his viewers play exactly what hes playing.

I normally do Shift + Double Click and it works for me.

I think I've gotten it to work with that maybe like... once or twice. But I can't get it to work even somewhat reliably

The timeout for the double click seems to be extremely tight. When you shift + double click like crazy it works, when you do it casually it fails.

Well I seem to be utterly incapable of double clicking that fast. I just tried it on about 20 stacks of sand and it didn't work for any of them. I made a macro on my keyboard that double clicks and that works fine now. They really need to adjust the timing on that...
