Is there any way to move all of an item in or out of a ME terminal with one click instead of clicking for each stack? Would be nice especially if you sort by quantity where the stuff you are clicking on will move around between clicks.

Also: any way to get a single item out with just one click?

Hold shift and double-click the item you want to mass move, and every stack in your inventory should go into the AE network.

I think zuiko means the other way around. If you sort by quantity and have 89 dirt, 74 cobblestone, and 4 glass, and you want to get all of the dirt, it'll move to the second slot after your first click and now you'll mis-click on cobblestone. I don't think there is a way to remove it all in one click, but the author seems very receptive to feedback. I'd visit http://ae-mod.info/Requested-Features/. Looks like one of the requested features (but not planned) may be what you're talking about:
  • Inventory add / remove items to player inventory.

If you check out the shortcuts for NEI (or the item management system for FTB), there is a "move all of item" option. I think it's spacebar + click, iirc. Double check yourself. I am also unsure if it works with AE.

Yes unfortunately CTRL-SHIFT-RMB (added by Inventory Tweaks mod) does not work on AE, only on chests. As for single items, Shift-RMB does pick up 1 from AE but it is just in your hand and you have to manually place it in your inventory (2 clicks)... then I might as well just grab whole stacks (one click) and put the extras back after I am done with it (2 clicks and a lot less mouse movement). Tried suggesting it on that IRC channel they have set up but no luck... so unless the author of Inventory Tweaks wanted to add support for AE I am out of luck on that. Oh well I can deal. AE is still awesome even if its a pain to remove several stacks of something.

Well, you can still shift-click a stack at a time without it jumping to your cursor. It's not one click, but you can still have 10 stacks with just 10 clicks.

What I'd like to see is storage monitors working exactly like barrels - including the ability to deposit items into the network via storage monitor. And the ability to shift-click one at a time. And the ability to double-right-click to deposit all of an item into the monitor, just like barrels.
