You will need multimc (a custom launcher) but here it is

Here is a video for installing it with multimc on Windows/Mac/Linux. You of course will be using the windows multimc version as I saw in the other post you run windows.
 
Did you follow the video?

If so, can you screenshot the file saying you have one mod.
 
I would not be surprised at this point if his hdd is just being a derp.

How old is that thing? Are there any other problems you are having?

I meant with your computer, to fix above crash you need to give it extra permgen or go with java 8
 
I get a similar out of memory thing when I try and run any of the 1.7.X packs, as my OS and Java are only 32 bit, and I only have 3 GB of RAM; I've resigned myself to 1.6.4 at this point ;p

His report said permgen and it is not even relevant probably.

Let me explain his situation, he can't download the modpack from the curse launcher as it complains about their not being enough space on his hdd and unless he has it not on his C drive he has plenty. He also can't use the above mentioned method because it didn't download everything.

So either he is doings something wrong and curse launcher had/has a bug, his hdd is dying or I am overlooking something. And as it doesn't look like he has other problems it is probably either the first or the last

i actually got it to work, just used the linux one ;)
