Anyone using 9 or close to 9 different inputs into MFR Bioreactor ?

run a conveyer belt over an item router
then placing a bioreactor next to the item router.
open the item routers interface and click reject non-mapped mode
then map the items you want to go to the bio reactor
route items to conveyer belt.
watch as the bioreactor fills with one stack of each type of item only despite having free space.
I just set this up last night. The output from the Harvester is split and sends melon slices and pumpkins to a pair of cyclic assemblers which turn those into seeds. BC pipes open-air dump the seeds onto a conveyor; the same conveyor that is carrying netherwart, carrots, potatoes, etc. Oh and another branch of the Harvester output drops cactus in a Powered Furnace to process it into Cactus Green, then on to the conveyor.
The conveyor is only two blocks long right now, and overflow lands in a hopper feeding a diamond chest.
The only thing I am doing by hand right now is wheat seeds. The Bioreactors I'm feeding are automated for 8 kinds of inputs, and if I want 9 I go hand-harvest some wheat seeds.

Someone mentioned that IC2 crop sticks will grow cocoa? If that's true, I'll probably switch out some of my melons (which i have a huge surplus right now) to cocoa and stop using wheat seeds.

Yes, but it's one of the slower growing crops. They were my limiting factor in my "only use crops and harvesters" experiment. I'd use a 7x7 if growing them.

I believe you want three layers of dirt under them, counting the tilled layer, to either grow or crossbreed better. Not certain which.

I like to use 8 BOP sapplings + jungle for this, 15x15 MFR treefarm ==> 5x5 for each tree :D Enough to supply 2 reactors without the use of a fertilizer + enough wood to power atleast 7 boilers. Best part about the BOP tree's is that they grow fast and grow tall (pick the right trees!).

I can't even get cocoa to plant in the crop sticks, anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I right click and nothing happens.

OK got it to work, not sure what the key is because one block simply won't plant. I hate asymmetry :D

Cocoa crop needs a total of 4 blocks of dirt to plant. First is the tilled dirt and 3 more dirt blocks underneath it.

Just a question: could force saplings work in a bioreactor? I know they work in fermenters. If they don't work in a bioreactor is there some way you can change them so they can?

Yeah I was just working on that this morning and came to that conclusion. Not only does it require 4 blocks of dirt, make sure none of the lower dirt blocks are not covered in grass. Sometimes when you place a dirt block it will flip to grassy so fast you might not notice it, and then that crop won't support cocoa.

No idea how to change it, but they do NOT work with a Bioreactor.

Right now, if I am not mistaken, there is no API on MFR's side for other mods to hookup. So unless PowerCrystal or skyboy adds in the support for DartCraft, you will not be able to use planter/harvester/bioreactor with Force saplings/trees. :(

I've got the planter/harvester/bioreactor working with a plugin by min alien I found on the forums. It takes OP power to the next level. :)
