Kinda a dumb question, as the answer is obvious... What i really want to know, has anyone figured out the rates of output and input yet?

I want to create a farm setup that is mostly self sufficient (Except the Apatite), which will fuel several 36HP steam boilers through Biofuel and planks, but I have no idea how to go about doing that; the old farms have plenty of good resources out there on how to automate them, the new farms don't.

So, some actual questions:

- With the old farms, you could make a completely self sufficient setup by running 2 Peat Bogs and 2 Arboretums (Source: Setup posted on Reddit a while back). Is this still true? If I built a single peat farm and a single tree farm (Max size, square layout), would the peat farm be enough to supply both itself and the treefarm with dirt?

- Kind of linked to the above, seeing as you only need dirt in a treefarm these days, are there any good ways of supplying dirt to it that doesn't involve the peatfarm? Could simplify things a little... I guess plantballs are a possibility, but then I'd have to cut into the supply of saplings needed for Biomass.

- Anyone using the new farms similarly and wish to share their setup? If so, please do! :)

- I'm aware I could make my life a lot simpler by just making an Steve's E-Farm and be done with it (even completely automated without the need for Apatite!), It's just... I like forestry ... :(

Thanks in advance!

Not really answering any questions, havent tried making them self sustaining yet, but i am in love with the rubber farm ive tried so far.

3x3x4, single stack of fertilizer and REcell set to 5mj/t. Used approx half a stack of fertilizer and by the time the cell ran dry i had 90 stacks of rubber.. this is without gravity gun/portal gun rearranging so every block has resin. Just packed them in so corners were touching but every face had the space for resin.

Its been run once in the 3 weeks ive had it, and ive since doubled the trees on the plot once i had more saplings. The oak (apple tree) is pretty great for saplings also. No idea yet on sustainablilty with biofuel? As ive not yet run out of oil and had to looking into other liquid fuel options.
