Hello everyone. I am kind of new to this all but I was wondering if anyone can give me a hand, I am trying to create my own mod atm just that adds a few different blocks to the game and I have had a little look around on the internet but can't find much, would anyone be able to assist me in this? I use Eclipse for Java and have an idea on what I am doing, I've already setup work spaces and folders etc for everything. Thanks in advanced to anyone who is willing to help me! 
P.S: I already do some development in software and hardware and I'm a fast learner.
