I've got this nifty Big Reactors set up at our spawn making around 12k RF /Tick and the only thing it's powering is my house at spawn...

I'd like to pipe out power but then I got to thinking...

1) If the chunk that contains part of the "power" line is unloaded, does power still get transmitted?

2) If so, are there any other solutions other than several chunk loaders?

Thanks again Guys and Gals I appreciate it!

1) No it doesn't. It has to all remain loaded.
2) You can use a tesseract to move the power from the reactor to your place.

I'm going to ignore the fact that this question has been answered twice above and point out that the tesseract was designed for just this purpose ;)

Just make sure both ends of the connection are spotloaded and yer golden

As side thought if you wanted to run the wire (if you don't believe in magic quantum transportation of energy) you could get away with one chunk loader in the middle of the distance set on line X or line Y mode and just load all of the chunks along the line of conduit.
