Any ideas on this steam fluid? I am just confused.

Is this on purpose? I mean the ones below look fine, but on time I got the note block texture, and another time one which I don't even recognise which looked plain weird.

I tried to just add textures that actually look decent when "arranged" like that. When you get a weird one next time could you post it / send me a pm please?

Sure thing! Musical note texture was one that I got.

I'll let you know if any other weird ones show up.

I loved those random textures at the Menu screen. Whoever did this, know that I TOTALLY LOVED IT THHHHHIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS MUCH

Great to hear your health problems are gone, I remember you retired because of them. IMO you were a touch insane, doing all those textures by yourself. Some days I feel burned out just doing fixes and making a few textures. You did entire mods by yourself.

Yep at one point last year it looked like the Lung cancer had beat me even got to the point I told my wife to inform people of my passing. OFC that is no longer the case I beat it after a very hard battle I will no longer do texture packs and the above fix is just a one off.

No I did mean the music note block thingy. The one you apply a redstone to and plays a note.

Does the steam texture do that in big tanks as well? If so it seems like it would really mess up how your base looks if you have busy textures in huge tanks

Sorry for posting on such an old thread but for anyone out there who has this problem I stumbled across an easy fix (if you want to keep railcraft and factorization). So I had a similar bug where the steam dynamos had a random texture for steam and in tanks or steam boilers there was no texture at all. This annoyed me probably alot more than it should have. However I recently added the Big Reactors mod to see if id like it ( which I do enjoy very much; definitely give it a shot; also has sphax patch available). Apparently the steam texture added in the Big Reactors mod overruled the other two and now I have steam textures appearing in tanks, boilers, and dynamos. So if you dont mind adding Big Reactors just for the texture its as easy as that.

Lol sure. I would add it just for the texture :p
Btw does the bug still exist in 1.7? I heard Mojang fixed some texture derps.
