Well I have my sorting system working really good but wanted more barrels. Problem is I didnt have room to add more barrels and still be able to put tubes on top of them so to add more barrels I had to use a router which I have never messed with before..( I'm also really new to redpower 2) ..

For some reason even tho certain items have a valid barrel to go to they will go to my overflow chest instead.
I have a Bandwidth upgrade on the router..

Here is a quick video i whipped together for you guys so maybe someone more knowledgeable with redpower and factorization and figure out whats wrong.

Thanks

One thing you can try is to insert a Relay between(against the router output facing router) the barrel sorting machine and router, to act as a buffer inventory to cut back on the bounceback from router to sorter. Some of the items hit the overflow because of that, router pulses red briefly and blocks all input. Multiple Relay's will increase the buffer but keep in mind there seems to be a slight FPS hickup when using alot of them.

Thoroughness upgrade, doesn't work properly, it's a know bug.

Neptunepink has cropped up again for a little bit around january, did some updating. But he hasn't touched that yet :D.

Thanks I added a Speed boost upgrade to the router on top of the Bandwidth and that didn't help so I Took your suggestion and put 1 relay on it and it "seems" to be able to keep up now. I will have to see for sure when I turn on my max speed quarry. I'm starting to think making my storage room out of Thaumcraft warded blocks wasnt a practical idea as it makes it really hard to expand if I need to add more barrels without using a router. A limitation of barrels I guess is the whole only putting items in the top so you cant have them stacked to save space without using a router. If the router can keep up I should be fine with how many barrels I have as I only use them for things I get alot of and use chests for the other items.

Its turning into a huge project to move my base lol.. I didn't really realize I had done so much in my old base, I got alota work ahead of me.

Add more routers. That brief instance that it has a stack of items in it is enough to consider it an invalid inventory, and it will be skipped. I've got 4 routers and they seem to be able to keep up with a good influx of items.
