Any client side mod to make water clear (don't want Optifine)

Basically, I want to remove the effect that makes the water darker when swimming underwater, would be really nice if we could also change the color of the water, I use the Faithful32 FTB pack and love it, but changing the water to look better would be really nice...

You could try the water shader mod, if it's updated that its.

I don't realy like shader mods, they seem to ruin my FPS down so much and ruin the original Minecraft Atmosphere so I avoid them at all cost, especially if the shader mod makes the water realistic like its from the real world water, Minecraft isn't the real world after all... And maybe I'm wrong but the shader usually change the appearance only, once you get inside the water will still have darkening effects and such...

I believe a respiration helm will do what you desire. Completely vanilla.

Sorry, not what I need, I have a huge dome in the ocean, I got rid of the water in it, now its surrounded by water of course, but I don't like the darkness of the water around it, I could light up the surrounding area with some lights to see what is around the dome but still we don't see very far under water, that's why I'm looking at a mod that would make the water nearly transparent when we are underwater.
