What they meant was, disable all the mods in the pack, then try to launch.
This is basic mod pack debuging.
If you can run the "pack" without the mods, great!
Now add some mods back in, launch the game. Working? Great!
Add a few at a time and launch again untill you get a crash.
Remove all but one of the last batch of mods you added and test,
Add another, test...
You see where this is going right?
