I just got Minecraft for Windows 10 and I didn't think about the fact that it would only work on the Xbox app. Is there any way for me to use my Microsoft version to play FTB?
(I've already tried logging in with my Microsoft account but it doesn't recognize it as an account)
 
If you can play the Java version of Minecraft with that account you’ll be able to play FTB without issue. If you can only play the Win10 version though you won’t be able to do it.
 
Ah, thought so. Yeah the Microsoft version doesn't run with Java.
So there's also no way for me to log into the FTB launcher with the Microsoft account?

Nope. The old FTB launcher goes through the Mojang account details, which is just your Java Minecraft account info. We're currently using the Twitch launcher to distribute packs, which then uses the Mojang launcher.
