Another Tesseract problem

Hopefully I can describe my problem accurately.

I'm using the most recent Direwof20 modpack in case that helps identify the versions of Tesseract etc that I'm using.

Currently I have a Tesseract surrounded by 4 BC Quarries. As I understood from researching, the BC Quarry would accept power and send items by being placed directly next to the Quarry so I thought I would be clever and oh so simple with my setup. I've checked my freq etc multiple times, redstone is ignored, send/receive settings are correct and the redstone input is good.

Is my problem as simple as the Quarry cannot be placed directly next to the Tess?

Will the Quarry recognize the Tess as an inventory?

I suppose I could test this out easily enough, but I'm lazy and dont feel like setting out all the landmarks again lol. I also was attempting to get away from a big mess of conduits/pipes/chests and the coinciding logistic issues.

I believe you need a conduit to change rf to mj for quarry.

I don't know about the Quarry but at least QuarryPlus does recognize a tesseract as an inventory but it will not directly get energy from it. You still need conduits for that.

Thanks guys, after writing it out I decided to just re-place a quarry and add a piece of redstone conduit, which did the trick. The item ducting is a bit of a mess but it's still a pretty good setup with one Tess taking care of 4 quarries running full blast.

If you could pipe power and items direct to the quarry my original setup would have been super slick and simple. I'm sure theres some sort of program compatibility issue, and I can't really complain considering.

Now I need to make more AE storage lol.

Quarries should be able to put items right into tessearcts, if you had the four quarries in a + shape with the tesseract in the middle and energy conduit over the top of them I think that would work (unless quarries can only output to the top).

It's more that quarries accept MJ while tesseracts transport RF. TE conduits convert one into the other but tesseracts don't by themselves.

In terms of items, yeah it's fine.
