Annoying "feature"

So I might aswell show a video of it already:

When i press R or MMB instead of sorting the inventory its just picking me the backpack, unless i press twice, then it sorts it right...

Its starting to get super annoying and how do i fix it?

Why would that be a feature...
Its a bug with the backpacks due to them holding extra information iirc.

its a bug with INV tweaks and it can happen to all items in the inventory having client delay its not a feature

Oh... I actually thought it was a feautre since I havent seen anyone else complain on it really

I think the problem lies with items like the forestry backpacks and also the dartcraft backpacks.
because I also get a sorting problem when using the mod HotbarSwapper. if I have no backpacks in my inventory, everything sorts fine, but as soon as there's a backpack...

you can ask covert jaguar and the mod author of inv tweaks for a work around... other than that I'm not sure Direwolf also has the same problem but he just pretty much ignores it a its not that much of a nuisance

The main problem is that the author of theses backpacks (sengir) from the Forestry mod, will never ever fix it, he knows this problem is around since a lot of MC versions, and he refuse to cooperate with the guy that created Inv Tweaks to correct that issue, that's also the same reason why you can't shift click or use any of the Inv Tweak tricks when the backpacks are open. At least a trick that work, is make sure to keep at least 1 item in each backpack you own, and try to keep them in the green arrow or yellow arrow mode, this should fix the issue for now (it worked in 1.5.2 at least)

What ???, now we may have some luck if its the case, I know Sengir wasn't really open minded about this, but if the leaders changed, we can expect some kind of fix now, any links to a clear info about this, I'm really curious...

Yup, but he's still the owner of the mod, so don't expect this kind of change, I don't think Sengir would approve the integration of Inv Tweaks... Or he changed his mind from a long time ago, he never wanted to work with another mod api if I understand his point of view...
