Angel ring doesn't work after I went to the twilight forest

Hello, I saw this issue seemed to be solved in 1.12.1 but I'm having the same issue but their original fix of taking it out of the baubles slot and putting it back isn't working. Basically I made the angel ring and had enough grid power and it worked far away and then i went to the twilight forest and the ring only works if I'm very close to my water mills now. Please help

Have you chunkloaded the area where your water mills are placed?

AHAHAHA I hadn't thank you so much I feel so dumb I've chunkloaded EVERY other machine sorry to bother you all
