AMD Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered

I've been trying to solve this problem for about a week now. I have Googled it extensively and none of the solutions I've found have worked. Whenever I try to loading up FTB packs, specifically Ultimate and Yogcraft, usually within minutes of starting a game or joining a server, the screen goes black and I get the above error message in Window's little alert bubble. Now comes the odd, and annoying part; I recently updated my AMD Radeon HD 7690M driver because using the old driver caused Skyrim to crash at random. FTB packs worked fine with the old driver, and still do if I roll it back to said previous version. This new driver update causes them to give this crash. I was hoping someone might have experience this and found a solution or knows how I might proceed. Here's the log for anyone who can actually decipher it. Thanks in advance!

I had a similar problem with another game, and it was simply my graphics card overheating that caused it.
So you might want to check the temp of your graphics card when this happens.
