So I noticed that my nexus randomly charges my machines. E.g. It will charge my calefactor halfway then start charging my arcane reconstructor. Is there any way to control this or does anyone know why this happens. Also is there any way to stop machines from charging and let my nexus build up essence.

Your machines from AM2 use essence from the nexus. So... if you don't want them charging... don't use AM2 machines?
I suppose you could use a arcane battery to try and charge them only when it's online?

I suppose the real question is why is it a issue? Unless you're using a Neutral Nexus for anything but spellcrafting...

I guess it's just that I like doing things all at once.

Look here buddy, I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. But not problems like "What is Beauty?". Because that would fall within your conundrums of Philosophy. I solve Practical Problems.

Ok now my nexus is not charging anything, not a mana battery and all my machines only get partially charged.[DOUBLEPOST=1404767416][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeah I tried it with a different nexus and still nothing.

Still have no idea what the issue is. Do you want those machines to run on a different kind of essence? Is your essence supply too low to afford to totally charge those machines? Constipated? Suicidal?
Just let me know...

I am trying to charge my machines using a light nexus, however my machines will only charge partially and then stop charging. When I tried it with a mana battery it did not charge at all.

Yep, all of us are slow, lazy, and precise! :p

Well the mana battery I can say (if I am readi g correctly) is that it only accepts neutral essence.

No, it works with any essence, but once it's got the first essence packet, it will only take that kind until it's empty again.

Light nexuses have slow production, and mana generally won't travel unless there's enough of it to form one packet (around 1000 units). Do you have that much in the nexus? Is your mana battery empty, or if not, does it contain light essence?

As far as I'm aware of, the crystal wrench is supposed to let you control where the essence goes. In practice, though, that often doesn't work. For instance, what I want is that the nexus should charge my mana battery and all other machines take their essence from there. All too often, the mana goes directly into the reconstructor and bypasses the mana battery regardless of what I do with the wrench.

Yes I usually have enough essence in the light nexus to charge things. It basically goes to full without charging anything.

Well I figured out that you need a redstone signal to initiate the charging of the mana battery but I'm still having problems with charging my other machines.[DOUBLEPOST=1404824121][/DOUBLEPOST]The weird thing is it usually only charges to a certain amount. My arcane reconstructor charges to 47,450 essence and my essence refiner charges to 164,370 essence.

Ok I believe it is my machines because of what was mentioned before and also my mana battery won't charge my machines either.

You can always move the machines out of range of the nexus and leave only the mana battery available to even take essence in the first place. Moving is a pain, but apparently so is randomly charging machines.
