So, I know most people would agree alveary's are better. But why? I have seen 2 posts similar to this but the only argument that was validly made was "if you wanted say 27 apiaries in the space an alveary takes, it'd take 27x the innoculating to get your bee to what you want it to be (no pun intended). I have the "fastest productivity serum" which increases the chance of combs by 70& if im not mistaken.
So, If I take my valuable drones (They have a 1% chance default of spawning the comb every 27.5 seconds) its now boosted to 71% every 27.5 seconds of dropping platinum combs (Without frames).
If I were to have 36 apiaries, all with the same bee, Id essentially, every 27.5 seconds, have a 71% chance (on each of the separate apiaries) of getting a total of 36 platinum combs - > 36 tiny piles of platinum dust -> 9 piles of platinum dust -> 1 iridium ingot Every 27.5 seconds
That seems wrong? I understand it is a lot more bees but, for almost the same space (give or take the extra 9 apiaries) youre getting a scary amount of platinum. Is this correct? I just need someone to confirm my apiary theory, if so, I will start hopping on making tons of them for my irium farm,

Alveries have a better base chance for gaining produce, Apairies can only equal this, with full frame, which aren't automatable.

Additionally, due to you mentioning serums, I presume you have access to Frame Housings in Alveries, which can give the same boost to the Alveary. I'd stick to 4 at max though, unless you wanna permanantly kill off your bees eventually. (Plus past that you generally don't get any further boosts).
