I've been playing feed the beast direwolf20 pack since about mid January, not frequent(as I have other things to do in life) but I do have plenty of things(8000 iron, 200 diamonds, level 31 ars magica, Decently far in TC4, imperial/industrious bees, etc etc) so I do have resources to create later on tier things, But my one dilemma is I always resort to lava power and it annoys me, maybe because it's so easy to do? So what I was looking for were some interesting ways to generate some power, instead of my 24 lava dynamos

Extra Utilities generators provide to you very cool and crazy ways to produce power, like the Nether Star Generator or the Pink Generator.

Steam is fun. Forestry farms can be done. You can also run your base off of bio reactors and generators from MFR.

IIRC, Alumentum can be used as a fuel. So try setting up an automatic way to produce it, and then burn it for fuel.

I've seen a few different ways of making it and it seems fun, I've had something planned for a bit involving a fun little mob torture chamber thing to project the Alumentum at them, Thanks for your response! Didn't think it wouldn't get this much attention so quick
