Alright. Weird Question...

Hi,

Alright. Here's the thing: I've never been to The End. I never played through the entirety of vanilla Minecraft before switching over to FTB.

Now, I understand how to get there (find a stronghold, put eyes of ender into the portal there), but I've got a few questions regarding making it happen in my FTB monster world:

1 - Is it more difficult to find strongholds when using Biome o Plenty?

2 - Is there anything I should know about speeding through the process?

3 - Is there a way to reproduce Dragon Eggs?(I mean, after getting the one from the Ender Dragon)


Right now I have the stuff to make the required 8 Eyes of Ender(over 10 ender pearls, gotten partially through mimichite, and blaze powder), but I'd hate to use them up throwing them in the air to guide me to a stronghold when I almost *never* find endermen anywhere. The pearls I have gotten were actually from a couple of ender creepers over the course of the game(I've got a creature mod on; forget what it's called).

This is important also obviously because I need endstone, and the only blocks of it I've found were around 2 eldritch hives near bedrock.

Any advice?

1) Nope.
2) Stand outside at night in a flat area and stare at the ender men. Proceed to murder them for their pearls.
3) Magic Bees lets you do this IIRC.

1. Stronghold spawning is independent of biome afaik

2. Find stronghold, find portal, jump in, kill ender dragon.

3. Look in NEI for recipes for the dragon egg. With the mods i'm using you have a choice of the tome of alkahest recipe from Xeno's reliquary (disabled by configs iirc), making it from draconic chunks (produced by Draconic bees, again you can check the breeding path in NEI) or the dragonfish from Mariculture.

Unless it's been disabled in monster, you can also make yourself an ender portal using magical crops instead of searching for a stronghold.
