Hey guys. I've tried this on a quite a few modpacks on FTB, but whenever I join a server I lose connection, but the thing is I don't lose connection as long as I am walking around. But as soon as I stop walking I lose connection and it says "Internal exception: Java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error". This also happens on modpacks on the Technic Launcher. Another thing is though, I use to be able to play on servers with these modpacks fine without losing connection on this same computer, so it's not just a matter of not having a fast enough computer. I have java 8 update 40. And vanilla multiplayer works fine. Oh yeah, and the console says this when I lose connection:

I belive it has something to do with your Firewall/Anti-virus. I would suggest turning it off and testing it out.

You can try restarting your router. If that dosn't work make sure you are running same version off the modpack as the server. Finally try port forwarding your router

Well, restarting my router didn't work, and I've tried multiple modpacks on multiple servers, so it's not because the modpack version being different as the server. And I've already port forwarded, so that's not it.

Ah, that has to be it. I have k9 on my computer. And my brother has the same problem on his computer and he has k9 also. It's got to be k9. Thanks so much, I've had this problem for over a year, I've posted posts on technic forums in the past and nobody has been able to help me. Thank you!
