I read something about airships, but what do you use to make them move?

if you mean the traincraft zeppelin in the mindcrack pack, it takes coal.

On the other hand, if you're talking about frame airships, then google "inchworm drive". It's a two-motor system that lets you move things in a single direction, so you'll need twelve motors to move freely. However, frame vehicles can't rotate, so bear that in mind if you decide to build one.

By the way if you're doing it for aesthetic, frames will retain a wooden border no matter what you make it out. Really kills the fun for me personally.

I imagine a texture pack would finish it?
