I have looked everywhere online and cannot find an explanation for when i cross breed plants i dont seem to get the seed that it produces , instead i get an improved version of the seeds i already planted. For example, i put a poppy seed down leave a gap put a blue orchid down and in between i put the 2 crop sticks, instead of getting allium seeds i always get poppy or blue orchid seeks. I just want to know if theres a chance of getting allium seeds or if its supposed to be guaranteed because then ill know if im doing something wrong and can change from there

I'm pretty sure it's a chance to get the results you want, which is why you are getting one of the plants you started with out. Just try a few more times and you'll probably get it.
