I was on Agrarian skies the other day when My whole pc Crashed!!! I restarted the PC and every thing was fine apart from how my world that i had spent like 10 hours on was not showing up. So i went in to the save file and it was still there but not showing up on minecraft. I tried doing the Corrupted world fix on minecraft wiki: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Recover_corrupted_saved_world_data

But it didn't work... I think its something to do with the Level.dat i dont know

please help :D

this is a forum, not a chat room...it can take hours or days sometimes for someone who knows what they are talking about to respond. Bumping your post 6 minutes after your last post is not the way to get someone to answer you. Patience young padawan.

Though, to my limited knowledge...if you followed the steps on the link you included, and it didn't work...you are pretty much out of luck. However, I don't know a lot about it as I've never had a corrupted world...so someone else "might" know a way to do it.

That mod will allow you to save checkpoints in the future (so this doesn't happen again), it will not help you solve your current corrupted world issue.

But i wont be able to open the world if its corrupt
The mod will back up the world at regular intervals, so if it gets corrupt, you can go to a previous backup. But, there is no saving your current world. You will have to begin a new world. They are giving you tips for your next world.

WorldStateCheckpoints mod save a snapshot of the entire world, so later on if that world becomes corrupt, you can revert it to your most recent snapshot. You'll lose any progress you've made since that point, but it will revert to the last one you saved which wouldn't be corrupt...and you can go on from there.

As I stated before though, this will not work for your current corrupted world, you are most likely going to have to start over.

if your world gets corrupted in a way that you're not able to load the world up anymore, you can go into the saves folder and there you'll find called "autosaves"
within that folder are the 10 last backups that the mod has made. if you want to revert back to one of them, copy all the content from one of the backup folders, and paste them in the main saves folder.
you should then be able to load back up your world again

Upload your corrupted world somewhere and post a link here, just in case anyone can fix it.

If the world is still in your save folder, but you can't see it in game, there's a fair chance it's not the world, but the player.xxx level.xxx file that's corrupted. Try making a new world, exiting, then coping the player.xxx level.xxx files from that world to the old one. If you can see the world in game, you're golden, though you may need to cheat in anything you had in your inventory.

Edit: Because Immibis is smarter than me :(
