Agrarian Skies instant falling into void

Hey guys, just curious on how to actually play Agrarian skies without just instantly falling into the void and dying?

i had that issue as well once. Before you launch it you have to download the map from the map/texture tap. I know it's a little weird but that should do the trick

Well obviously you need the map. The modpack is just the mods, it won't generate the associated map out of thin air.

having been through this myself, it's a little misleading since it is in the launcher which feels, to someone new, that it should install not only the mods but the map as well. It doesn't feel like it should be anything more than a one click. Once you get used to how things are done on the thing yeah it makes sense.
