Hello, I was playing on agrarian skies and I finally installed cauldron aka mcpc+ after a while. Ever since I have installed it bonemeal would instantly grow trees, but not like it did before where it took around 5-6 which I liked. I can't help but feel cheaty and overpowered with it working like this so I wondered if anyone had encountered this issue or knows a fix for it or a work around? I really do not like it like this as it makes it feel too easy. I know this may sound silly to a lot of people but it really does affect gameplay. it only does this on trees and not on any other crops that I have tested, and I cannot figure out where it is coming from, i've looked through all the configs for cauldron aka mcpc+. I am using the latest version for 1.6.4. Any help would be appreciated thank you for your time.

So I can't use plugins with my server? at all? Is there a way for me to be able to use bukkit plugins for my server on agrarian skies or will it just break the tree bonemeal thing. I was really looking forward to being able to have a server with plugins. Darn, any other help would be appreciated[DOUBLEPOST=1404200462][/DOUBLEPOST]I only changed the server JAR file from the orioginal ftb one to MCPC+ one, not any of the mods folder or anything like that just the jar files for the bat to recognize and boot up.

It might be the way that MCPC loads the mods? I don't know what MCPC is, other than what I have just read.

I have no idea how this works, but it sounds to me like the ability to handle plugins actively would involve MCPC being directly connected to the mods, such that the interactions can occur. Having MCPC might override the non-default settings, which might be custom loaded by the modpack.

Up until 1.5.x, bonemeal instantly grew everything in vanilla, maybe one of the mods is trying to reinstate that?

That's the thing, it doesn't do it on the normal agrarian skies server, only once I have installed cauldron and am using the cauldron jar aka mcpc+
I cannot for the life of me figure this out, I have tried everything and I am at my wits end.

Remove ''cauldron jar aka mcpc+" whatever the great stinking F that is, if you want help with fixing this while running that go ask on a bukkit forum cos none of us have the faintest idea how to help I'm afraid...

Keep in mind, some tree's just grow instantly with bonemeal. Are you sure you tested this with vanilla oak trees not some forestry altered apple oak sapling or anything?

Yes, some trees on the normal jar grow instantly, but it is a fair bit rarer than in the cauldron.jar file. Cauldron aka MPC+ is actually what allows you to use plugins for feed the beast on servers, so I figured some people would know but I guess not. I appreciate you trying to help racemol. It is from "Minecraft" in NEI and is a plain sapling.

The sapling bonemeal mechanic is a vanilla behaviour. It sounds like Cauldron is based on a version of Minecraft where saplings can be insta-grown on first use of bonemeal. Similarly, it might be a bug in it. The only workaround I could imagine being effective is having a mod that replaced saplings' bonemeal behaviour with the version you prefer. I am unaware of any such mod existing.
