Trying to plan ahead for the vinegar quest and just need to know what juice-able crop has the shortest growth cycle in order to turn that stuff over as quickly as possible.

Ok, but let's say none of them have the ritual underneath (or hell, all of them, if you insist on throwing that into the mix). Which has the shortest growth cycle?

To be specific: for a baseline, unmodified, all farming conditions being equal, which juice-able crop has the shortest growth cycle?

For instance, rye goes through two stages: 50% and mature; wheat goes through 4(?). You'll produce more flour in the same amount of time by growing rye rather than wheat.

Actually find the recipe that uses a forestry version of the fruit and set up a forestry tree farm, they tent to produce faster than Pam's Harvestcraft. Hill Cherry tree does the tricks according to NEI Remember to have the farm in manual picking mode, not tree cutting mode.

I think it depends on the biome. Different plants grow at different speeds in different biomes. They all have two growth stages, but the speed that they move between stages differs.
Blerg.

This could all be a moot point with an MFR Fertilizer, though right? Just load it up and it instantly matures them?
