Oh, this sounds good. Not exactly a teleport, but I don't think I'm at a technological level where that would be possible so this will be enough. I'll try to look into the Intra Linking books but in the meantime this'll be enough.

No idea how well it works tho, I've never tried it

Guys, I appreciate the suggestions, but this is not what I'm looking for. I'm not going to make a new mine, I have a pregenerated mineshaft that I explore sometimes intersecting with caves and ravines, and I wanted to find a to quickly get back home either with a teleport or something similar.

Well problem is that the DW20 pack is rather too limited to supply any options to teleport you back home without having some infrastructure in place on both ends AFAIK. You have Intralinking books(which are probably still a bit too expensive to just leave lying around where you last used them) or Portal Guns(which are not exactly early game).

I HATE saying this..... I tend to be a big proponnent of hardcore game play. That said.... if you are a more casual player..... there is a rather easy solution...

turn keep inventory on and find a way to die.

I used to keep it on, but this time I wanted to keep it off as well as mobgriefing. ALthough I did have problems with creepers somehow being right next to my door in the middle of the day.
