What are summer nice aesthetic mods besides chisel and carpenters blocks? Also could you showcase a build using a nice aesthetic mod or a build that creatively uses common blocks to make your build look nice?

My base isnt yet finished, but Railcraft stones are amazing, also Extra Utilities stones for factory looking bases. Wood users have alot of options ith BoP, Natura, Forestry, etc. I will link a picture when I consider it being somewhat good to show off.

It also depends on what skin-pack you are using. If your using Jaded-cat's amazing skinpack then pretty much every block can be used for a house depending on what you are going for.

I think that Railcraft has my favorite-looking blocks of any real, not-specifically-aesthetic, mod.

Lost as always
The reason Carpenter's Blocks and Chisel are touted as such amazing aesthetics mods is not because they make pretty things, but because of the enormous amount of flexibility you can get with them.

Carpenter's Blocks, for example, can make any block look like practically anything. You can make a thatch roof using carpenters blocks and planes and hay bales. It is the modularity with which you can apply any block to any shape and configuration that makes it so amazing.

ExtraUtilities has some amazing decoration blocks with fantastic connected textures, and they aren't generally very difficult to make which is always a bonus.

Generally, though, when you talk about aesthetics, you are probably going to want to start talking more about resource packs, which is a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

Tartarus.. I mean at work. Same thing really.
Never really got into chisel or CB myself.
(A lot of this stuff I find gives too many options- it just leads to overall clutter [both inventory and build], also working through inherent limitations seems to foster my creativity while something that removes limitations stifles it. Guess its part of the design challenge I enjoy)

Vanilla hardened clay is getting a lot of play in my world along with some of the planks from trees in BoP. Havent started utilizing the carpenter's blocks yet but I will.

ICBM adds camouflage blocks that you can disguise as other blocks. There are two other abilities you can do with it like make one way glass, and make it so you pass thru the block. Great for traps and hidden doors that dont require redstone/power/mffs. In my version they dont like mod blocks but it's an old version and calclavia updates like crazy.

Hint: there is a showcase section of the forums specifically for showing off builds.

I find Openblocks tanks filled with lava (or any other fancy liquid) a very useful decorative block.
