Summary of the problem AE2 smart/dense cables are not always consumed when placed.

What is the bug? Regularly when I try to place an Applied Energistics 2 smart cable or dense cable (It may also occur with other cables but I don't use the others as often) the cable will place but will not be removed from my inventory.

Is it repeatable? I can't find the exact circumstances that cause this. But simply try to place AE2 smart/dense cable connected to eachother, sometimes it will be consumed, other times not.
If it makes any difference I use the red colored cables more often then others.
Known Fix No fix. I've just been counting how many are not consumed and trashing that amount after I'm done.
