(AE2) Dump contents of entire ME system into another?

Hello everybody!

Before I begin I would like to clarify that this is my first post on this forum, so if I've placed this in the wrong place, please let me know.

I would like to transfer all the contents of my ME system into another system temporarily, preferably without using IO ports because most of the contents are stored within Thermal Expansion caches (to allow for physical and terminal-based access) and not within disks.

If they're all stored in caches with storage buses, there's nothing to transfer. Disconnect the cabling from one system and connect to the other. Done.

Several, actually. However, it doesn't seem to be necessary since nothing is actually 'on disk'.

To clarify, everything you have is stored in TE Caches and hooked up to the ME Network via Storage Buses, probably some form of Super Soaryn Drive, right? There's nothing in the actual ME system to transfer. Just re-wire and you're done. It's one of the advantages inherent in the SSD storage system.

If you do have stuff 'on disk', just remove the physical disks and plug them in at your destination ME network's disk drive(s). You can even automate this since you can pull ME disks from the drives with ducts, and send them along to the receiving drives with tesseracts.

If you actually do need to do a transfer for some reason (as opposed to just rewiring the storage or moving the disks), you can use the I/O ports, which are basically designed for this.

Attach an I/O port to each system, and get a bunch of spare disks. Make sure the first system's I/O port is set to transfer items out of the system. Throw the empty disks into it, wait for them to fill up, and take them out. Then make sure the second system's I/O port is set to transfer items into the system. Throw the full disks into it, wait for them to empty, and take them out. Repeat until all items are transferred.
