In my survival world (Custom Modpack), I hide all my AE2 Components in a tiny core in a Natura redwood tree.
I am aiming for having the most crafting recipes being packed into a compact area, i.e 3^3 blocks. I have made a 18-assembler setup.
Tidbit thingy: With upward-slanted/downward-slanted conveyor belts from Immersive Engineering, you can make ceiling/floor conveyors for players and mobs.
(Ceiling setup has a nice lava flooring to show its safety.
