Does anyone actually use them? i wad browsing through NEI and found weird looking drives which apparently if used correctly can clear out entire chunks and save them? Is there any real use for them or are they just a gimmicky item?

easy way to move your base I guess... it if saves the content to an actually file in your saves, you might even be able to move chunks through worlds

I never really felt the need to construct additional pylons, however I always require more vespene gas.
