Hello all,

I have a macerator which exports iron ores which are then imported into the system. Then I have an electric furnace which exports iron dust and smelts this into an iron ore.

But now I have the recipe for ivar bled: 2 iron dust + ferrous metal.

I added an iron ore to the export bus from the macerator but it won't keep it into the system, it goes straight into the furnace to smelt, thus having an infinite loop of macerating and smelting.

Do I have to keep my ores as piles and only smelt on demand or is there another trick? Do I have to fool around with level emitters to make sure I have X number of dust always available?

Level emitters seem like your best bet, but an interface over a dedicated macerate might work as well

instead of the macerated dusts from ores going back into the main system have them go directly into the furnace

or create a ore processing subnetwork (main network exports ores into interface of other network, and other network exports ingots back into main network)

You can make Alloys with the Induction Smelter.
Use that and your problems are solved.

both are great was of doing
