AE Interfacing

Would it be possible to add a plugin to a server that interfaces with AE. So that players can use a computer as a sort of marketplace? Each item (or specific items) have monetary values, and when a player takes that item from the computer, they lose that $ from their "bank account" (currency plugins are simple enough on their own). This would allow players to have a very effective exchange of products and the items can be housed on creative storage cells in an admin section of the map...

Does anyone have ideas on 1. whether or not this is even possible. 2. how to go about making this happen. 3. an already existing alternative.

The Foresrty trade station is set up more like a mail order catalog, but adds the basic player trading functionality. You just don't see the Forrestry mail system used much when everyone is already typing in chat or on team speak.
