Hello!

So, I've been building a sort of Advent Calendar, made up of 24 rooms, on the Regrowth server I play on with a few friends, and I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of what I've done. Just the first 4 rooms so far (Day 1 - Day 4); I've decorated a few more but I don't have screenshots of those yet.

Hah! I don't think I'll be able to keep that up, but here's some of days 5 and 6.

Note: the decor in Day 6 was chosen by my youngest - he really wanted those colours!

Ah dang, I knew I forgot something.

Every day has a piece of chocolate and a surprise gift in each of the chests; Day 1 just had a cookie, but day 2 had “Roast Turkey” (renamed roast chicken), days 3 and 4 had a Nethercake (from Witching Gadgets) and a bottle of “Rouge Bovine” (Speed II potion). Other days have things like a Mana Blaster, or a Screw Gun from Bibliocraft. I haven’t done all the gifts yet :p

See, I was going to do a Christmas Eve surprise, but it was going to be a bit more pleasant than that ;)

I was going to have a secret door hidden behind the fireplace, so they need to run through and get to the other side, then there would be a staircase into the attic area, which contained a teleporter to a new location. There, I had planned to build a proper Santa's Grotto/North Pole base, with a sleigh and presents and all sorts of stuff!

Is this vanilla? If so, an elytra would be a nice present ;)

Unfortunately not, as its Regrowth which is in 1.7.10, there isn't an Elytra - that would have been an awesome present :D I'll think of some more mod-based stuff. They've already got personal teleporters (thanks to an earlier suggestion of mine) so that puts those out of the window alas.
 
Sorry about the lack of updates, I'm still working on the Calendar, and I've got pictures, but I haven't had chance to get them uploaded yet - hopefully tonight will be the night!
