Is this thing always mind numbingly slow? I have the 3 iridium coils in it as it can take, and it still takes incredibly long to make 1 silicon. I was kind of expecting it to be much quicker. There a way to speed this thing up that i'm unaware of?

Yes and No. It is one of the slowest processes in Minecraft. Best bet is to make one AR Silicon ingot, then put it in to a Drawer, with an oredict upgrade if you are in the current version, then put in any other silicon to convert it to AR silicon ingots.
Correct. Learned that trick from a lets play on YT, don't remember who or what pack, but have never made more then 1 Silicon ingot in any pack thanks to it.
