Adding Mods to Existing pack Question

OK SO I'm fairly new to the whole mod Scene... I have a modpack (FTB presents Direwolf20) that I'm running on a server with some friends... My question is if I add 3 mods (Iskalls mobs, Decocraft, Primitive Mobs) Would it really affect my current game? Like I know you can add mods to existing realms and such but will there be any clashes that would cause severe problems?

Testing is the best route to go. Dupe your "production" server and test on a scrap machine/cheap hosting and if craps happen then just figure out the mod(s) responible and then rinse and repeat.
