Pardon if this is a dumb question, but if I wanted to include Pneumatic craft to FTB LITE, what all do I need to do to properly add it in? Is it just a matter of adding the mod zip, or do I need to add in the configs (as I am taking it from the DW20 pack) from DW20 and pasting it somewhere? Is there even more to it?

If it isn't covered by the universal configs, you might have a few minor ID conflicts. Probably not since you're carrying the config over, but it's a possibility.

Then you're going to have to do a LOT of dancing. The universal config made it super easy to integrate any mod into your modpack, as so long as FTB supports it.

The downside is that any mod not included in the universal config has been completely discriminated against. You have a lot less block IDs to work with, since the universal config covers all mods that FTB supports.

If you are feeling zealous enough, you could try and find all the available block IDs and see if you can fit pneumatic tubes in. It just seems like a lot of work, when there are other mods that do the same thing. It might not be worth your time.

If the mod isn't in the modpack, the IDs taken by the universal configs will be available for use until they are either assigned to another mod, or that mod is then put in place. And on FTB Lite, there will be fewer taken IDs. If anything, this is probably one of the best packs to add a non universal configs mod into due to having more IDs available.

I don't think you understand how a universal config works...

I think I understand it perfectly. If the mod is not present in the install, the ID is still available. As soon as that mod is then added, the ID is taken by the mod that is assigned to it in the universal configs. So if he doesn't have AM2 installed, and doesn't plan on installing it, he can use the IDs assigned to AM2 by the universal configs. I've done it before.

Hmm, the universal config is a lot less biased than I thought it was then.

"Biased" is the wrong word for this. They're there to make it easier to drag and drop mods that are covered by the configs, not to "bias" against one mod or another.

A lot? You mean a small amount of effort that a baby could put in to finish?

Context is everything. Though, aiming to always start an argument is truly representative of your intent here.

Just a heads up @DREVL;
The FTB Lite configs are a bit behind the other config files. EI: Things are missing from the mods that exist in the configs within it and within other packs. AM2 was missing the witchwood forest particle fix and even putting it in I think didn't work. So if your using the most up-to-date version of the mod the config its using might be missing things (presuming they don't auto-update, not sure personally).

K. Just to make sure I'm not entirely and derpishly wrong, the "universal configs" is a folder that has a config file for each inclusive mod correct? So I copy over the zip to the mod folder and put the config file in the same sub folder within the ftblite folder that it was in the dw folder?

In theory you shouldn't need to put the config file in. It should already be in the folder. But its possible with the newer mods (EG: Pneumaticcraft) that the configs do not exist in the other packs that don't include it.
