Added mods not appearing in-game

Hello FTB

So i made a closed server for just me and my friends, and we wanted to add more mods for the projects that required it. I know how to add the mods, you put the jar file into the server mod directory, and then add it to the client. But when i launch the server i see the folder it belongs to, but the items inside the tab aren't there, and i don't know how to fix it. We added PsychedeliCraft before and it works, but mods like CustomNPC, and Flans is where the problem starts. Note that the server launches, but the mods disappear in the tab. Any help on this would be appreciated, and sorry for the long message.

Flans mod does nothing on its own, you need to add the content packs
CustomNPCs I am not too sure on, but I would assume it's just spawn eggs?

Both custom NPCs and flans require some outside content to work. Flans need third party weapon packs. Same might be said for Custom NPCs.

Of course if you have the patience to learn you can actually make wepons of your own design.
Shame Flans is known as the twelvie 420blazeit360noscope crowds mod. Because it's quite the powerful content engine, this Flan dude has created something pretty cool.
I dicked around with it on a separate instance, made myself a stupidly destructive one shot rail cannon. With its own sprite and ammo. You can even, if you are clever make your own models for guns.
Flans is sadly a very underutilized mod, it's as powerful as Modtweaker when it comes to custom content. Unfortunately all its know for is providing kiddies with the op COD gunz.

I solved the case. I just got on ftb and customnpc finally budge. I don't know if it was a script thing or i just had to wait, but, it works. Thanks to the people that helped me anyways.
