Add viscosity to added fluids?

I'm building a custom mod pack for a YouTube series using FTB Lite 3 as a base, adding Galacticraft and Tinker's Construct and removing some unused elements. Galacticraft adds oil and fuel as fluids to the pack, but when I find or make source blocks, they're essentially air: No viscosity, no swimming, no drowning, etc. They flow as water and can be bucketed, but otherwise don't interact with entities.

Did I miss a step somewhere? The combination works in every other way except for this little one. I can work around it for the series, but wouldn't mind that element of realism.
