HI, I'm really quite new to server hosting, i pretty much turned it on and invited a few people. I know how to start stop refresh ban op teleport and other listable items that should be separated by commas.

What i don't know how to do is figure out who stole two stacks of UU matter from me. or anyone else for that matter.

Creeperhost is my host, and they seem to be a good host. But i feel a bit overwhelmed by the learning curve, and nothing that i thought might turn up results procured anything even remotely relevant when i was on Google.

so here is my question: how do i go about having access to records of the activity of individual players for the purpose of determining effectively player involvement in ban-able offenses. Specifically on Creeperhost if that makes any difference.

Unfortunately, unless you have a logging program like logblock or hawkeye that keeps track of individual changes like that, there isn't really anything that comes with the FTB modpacks or that the server host will be able to help you with. At least as far as my experience goes.

Your best bet would be using MCPC+ or BukkitForge (I recommend MCPC+) they allow you to import Bukkit plugins to Forge servers!
Then you can just install a logging plugin, I recommend using CoreProtect2 due to the compatibility with forge.

Thanks! I'm looking at the MCPC+ page right now, which directory does it go in? Where do the plugins go?

Thanks! I'm looking at the MCPC+ page right now, which directory does it go in? Where do the plugins go?

1. Download the latest MCPC+ legacy (http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus-Legacy/57/).
2. Delete server.jar (Your server jar file).
3. Rename "mcpc-plus-legacy-1.4.7-R1.1-SNAPSHOT-f534-L57.jar" to server.jar (or ftb.jar or whatever you like) Or edit the launch.bat to reflect the new jar name.
4. Install any bukkit plugin you want by dropping it inside the ServerDIR/plugins folder (If you don't have it, run the server once and stop it).
5. Start your server again.
6. Enjoy your new MCPC+ server!

Does logblock work with MCPC+?
It should be working, but why don't you give it a try? ;)
But the CoreProtect2 plugin was designed to work with forge items/blocks though, and it utilizies SQLite instead of MySQL, but overall, they're both great.

I did give LogBlock v1.41 a try, it doesn't appear to do anything, no response, no errors, no action, it just absorbs the command like a black hole. I agree that CoreProtect is superior to LogBlock in many ways except that LB has the ability to write results to a file which you need if you want to look through hundreds of results or you want to keep a record for mcBans.
