I noticed there is a recipe to duplicate a nether star in this mod, using the Tome of Alkahest, three wither skeleton skulls, glowing water (which is water plus several glowstone) and a diamond. I tried to use it but it didn't work. Has this been disabled? If so, how do I enable it?

This is FTB Monster 1.1.2.

(I thought maybe it would only work in Peaceful mode like the Extra Utilities recipe but that wasn't it)

I think all recipes with the tome of alkahest are disabled, possibly because of a duplication bug. You should be able to reenable it in the configs for XR.
