Every thread I've found has either outdated names or setups that end with an unstable world or getting undesired effects (twilight forest trees everywhere).

I was wondering if anyone had a list of stable biomes for lava worlds, mining ages, or just a completely clear flat lands.

I. wut. sand and grass wtf. That is the weirdest age. Is that lava off in the distance?

Maybe try MrRostel's Lava age? (post #10)

Yea the lakes are lava. I did the same one again while doing oceans and single biome 3 times, got about 10 blocks deep of lava, caves everywhere, and ice tendrils.

it might help if you posted the combo of pages you used. Mystcraft is a very tricky mod, you may have used pages that contradict each other. Usually this means the world gen will skip those pages and substitute them that or give you corruption.
You could have also not used enough pages.

Both of those do not provide a flat terrain. I want a flat world for testing more than mining.

I remade my lava age three times to test and every time it came out as a decent lava age. You might have put something in the wrong order or left a page out. You have the possibility of getting things like tendrils, spheres, and a few other things though. If you want to make sure you don't get those try adding a few pages of caves, mine shafts, or basically anything that's underground that won't effect things above the surface . If you want the terrain to be flat under the lava just add the flat page instead of the standard terrain page. With flat the lava will be 5 blocks deep and with standard terrain it will vary but it can go much deeper.
