A Smarter Transport Network? (Monster)

Greetings all,

I'm planning some ambitious automation and I am in need of assistance. I need to get all of one item (let's say diamonds) out of a chest and then spread them evenly through a number of other inventories, while leaving the other items in the chest.

I am open to almost any transport system, but will not be using anything from Thaumcraft. This means no Golems. I am using FTB Monster.

Does anyone have any bright ideas which don't involve stacks of diamond pipes?

Setup filters on your itemducts to only pull the diamonds. Itemducts also support round-robin mode, so that should also handle your even distribution.

How convenient. Thank you, this will perform admirably.

Right click the itemduct that is doing the extraction three times with a crescent hammer to set it to round robin mode (make sure you click the tube part of the duct, not the connector with the arrow on it), by default itemducts move items to the closest inventory.

Even better. Those things are neat, I need to stop using BC piping when these things exist.
