A NEW BEGINNING 2

The time has finally arrived, A New Beginning 2 is here. I will continue working on the first pack adding quests and some map changes but I wanted to get this out there at the same time. A New Beginning 2 is based on a more Realistic harder Minecraft experience. The Pack will eventually have 4 different game mode but we are starting with just the overworld portion.


Game Modes:

• Overworld
• Skyblock (Garden Of Glass)
• Desert Survival
• Island Survival

This pack has been formed around Reasonable Realism and Environmine. A lot has been changed from standard Vanilla Minecraft mechanics. The first thing you will want to make sure you do is complete the first couple of quests to get yourself set up with a Camel Pack and Early game ore gathering. Mining is not the easiest way to get ores Early Game in this pack, You will want to sieve to get your first metals in order to make a pickaxe that is able to mine ores you come in contact with. Harder ores is included in this pack (Harder Ores alters the way ores hard found, harvested, and refined into useable materials. Ores are more scarce and occur in veins (distributions controlled by Custom Ore Generation) but tend to contain much more total ore.) So you will have to search for the ores in different biomes rather then just finding them at standard ore levels.

Early game Survival:

Now to get started in this pack your going to want to make sure you have a good water source and start the Ex Nihilo approach. The next challenge you'll face is Hunger. Spice of life adds Diminishing Returns to your food so I suggest starting Agricraft and Pams Harvest Craft in the early game to make sure you have a variety of food to keep you alive. Also I suggest making your Tinkers' Tools in the early game so they level up and progress with your progress.


Quests:

There will be a quest line to guide you along the path and really increase your chances of survival. If you follow the quest book your chances of survival will be greatly increased.


Hardcore Mode:

Want a more difficult challenge Enable hard core mode which gives you a certain amount of lifes.

I was thrilled when a saw this post. I played the pack for about 2 hours, and found myself saying its the same old stuff. Before you go off on a rant, I played and loved A New Beginning and I know V2 is only alpha, its also MC1.7 why not 1.10 as a lot of mods have now updated to it and there a lot of new ones out there that would fit in with the pack.
